REPORT: Bears RB Kyle Monangai Dealing With Turf Toe

Chicago Bears running Kyle Monangai is dealing with turf toe that leaves his status in doubt for the next couple of weeks, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports.

However, Monangai is hoping to play through the injury, Fowler adds.

The 24-year-old rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries in last Sunday’s victory over the New York Jets. It marked his second 100-yard game of the season.

Monangai leads Chicago in rushing this campaign with 324 yards. He’s formed a dynamic combo with Bears running back D’Andre Swift, who has 311 yards in 2026.

Chicago has the NFL’s top rushing attack, averaging 196.3 yards per game.

The 3-1 Bears face the 2-2 Green Bay Packers on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET.
