REPORT: Derek Carr Will Likely ‘Take The Fall’ For Terrible Raiders Season

The Las Vegas Raiders are in the midst of a terrible season despite entering the year with high expectations. The team sits at 2-7 and in last place in the AFC West.

The losing season has many people believing that Josh McDaniels is on the hot seat and could be one-and-done in Vegas but according Tashan Reed of The Athletic, it’s Derek Carr, not McDaniels, who could be the ‘fall guy’ in Las Vegas:

This past offseason Carr signed a new contract with the Raiders but the structure of the contract allows the Raiders to move off of him with minimal cap ramifications.

The Raiders lost to the Colts, 25-20 on Sunday and will travel to Denver next week to face the Broncos.
