
This unnecessary hit by Indianapolis Colts linebacker Bobby Okereke on Daniel Jones could’ve been really bad.
During Sunday’s 38-10 win by the New York Giant over the Colts, Okereke was chasing down Jones during a play and when Jones slide, Okereke came with in with a forearm hit to the helmet of Jones that caused the Giants quarterback’s head to bounce off the turf:
This hit came after Giants’ outside linebacker Kayvon Thibodeaux was celebrating by doing snow angles following a sack of Nick Foles, who was hurt on the play.
The Giants ended their playoff drought on Sunday, clinching a wild-card spot thanks in-large part to Daniel Jones, who finished the game by throwing for 177 yards and rushing for 91. He also had two rushing and two passing touchdowns.
