A.J. Green is calling it a career.
The veteran wide receiver announced his retirement from the NFL on Monday.
Green spent the last two seasons of his career with the Arizona Cardinals. Prior to that, Green spent the first 10 seasons of his carer with the Cincinnati Bengals after they selected him fourth overall in the 2011 NFL Draft. He earned seven straight Pro Bowl selections to start his career and was one of the greatest receivers of his generation, having posted 1,000-plus receiving yards in six of his first seven seasons.
The Georgia product racked up 9,430 yards and 65 touchdowns in 127 games with the Bengals.
Green ends his career having caught 727 passes for 10,514 yards and 70 touchdowns in 158 games. He is widely considered one of the best receivers in Bengals history.
