Cardinals Hire Eagles Defensive Coordinator Jonathan Gannon As New Head Coach

The Eagles are being picked apart by NFL teams with openings.

Despite an awful showing in the Super Bowl that included the Eagles giving up 24 points in the second half to a hobbled Patrick Mahomes, the leader of Philly’s defense is off to be a head coach.

The Cardinals have hired now former Eagles defensive coordinator Johnathan Gannon as their next head coach, replacing Kliff Kingsbury, whom Arizona fired after a tumultuous 4-13 season.
