Lamar Jackson Told Ravens They Need To Aquire Odell Beckham & DeAndre Hopkins For Him To Stay

The Ravens seemed to attempt to appease Lamar Jackson last week by signing free agent WR Odell Beckham Jr., but that is apparently that’s only half of the plan if they want to further contract talks with their star QB.

According to media analysis Michael Lombardi, Jackson told Baltimore that they needed to trade for DeAndre Hopkins as well as Beckham “and then we can talk.”

The Ravens let Jackson know that they don’t have cap space to get both WRs, but would get one – which if they stand by their word, will only be Beckham.

The Ravens notably signed linebacker Roquan Smith to a five-year deal worth $100 million, which likely contributes to limited funds for both weapons.
