Greg Hardy has got to have the wildest LinkedIn work history timeline of anyone.
Hardy entered the NFL in 2010 after being drafted in the 6th round, but despite low expectations, quickly rose to the top ranks of defenders in the league, arguably regarded as the best defender at one point in time.
All that success came crashing down when four years later, Hardy was arrested for assault and threats, when he was alleged to have assaulted an ex-girlfriend by grabbing her, throwing her into furniture, strangling her, and threatening to kill her.
Amongst other legal trouble, Hardy was expunged from the NFL, and later took his talents to MMA, where he would rise up the ranks all the way to the UFC. After not receiving a second contract offer from the league, Hardy took his talents to… Walmart?
Yes, the man who made nearly $24 million in his career is now doing marketing, selling products at Walmart in a 9-5 role, and he is not enjoying it.
