Certain fans are just insane.
Saquon Barkley and the Giants are in the midst of contract dispute and while the team did place the franchise tag (worth $10.1M) on the Pro Bowl running back, it seems like he’s opted to hold out as both sides try to come to an agreement on a long term deal.
With the deadline for players on a franchise tag to sign an extension with their team nears (July 17), Giants fans have grown very anxious over the dispute. One (insane) fan took it to another level by showing up outside Barkley’s house and yelling for him to accept the Giants offer.
“Saquon, we love you, sign the deal!”

It’s been a tough offseason for running backs as we’ve seen a couple of the highest paid backs get cut from their team — Dalvin Cook, Ezekiel Elliott — while others who have become free agents sign for far less than expected.
Barkley, along with Tony Pollard (Cowboys) and Josh Jacobs (Raiders), had the franchise tag placed on them and both don’t seem to be near on any extension with their respective teams.
