Jacksonville Jaguars defensive back Chris Claybrooks was arrested on Friday on domestic violence charges, according to News4Jax.
The 25-year-old corner was booked on misdemeanor domestic battery and felony false imprisonment charges at Duval County Jail.
The Jaguars released a statement on Claybrooks’ arrest.
“We are aware of the arrest of Chris Claybrooks and are currently in the process of gathering information. We will have no further comment at this time,” the team said.
This is Claybrooks second domestic violence arrest this year. He was arrested in Nashville on April 15 and charged with domestic assault with bodily injury and vandalism under $1,000.
Claybrooks is scheduled to appear in court on Saturday.
