Odell Beckham Jr. is back this season after signing with the Baltimore Ravens in free agency.
But the return to the field may be a short one based on the comments OBJ made in a recent interview.
“I’m thinking like this is my last year,” Beckham told the Athletic. “I’m going to give it my all this year. And then if something happens after that, we can go from there.”
One can understand his view after fighting his way back from when he thought the end would be forced on him by fate.
“I went through a lot the last couple of years, and I thought it was over,” Beckham said about his rehab. “I didn’t want to get back up on the horse and do the same song and dance all over again.”
Beckham tore his ACL as a member of the Rams in Super Bowl LVI and missed the entire 2022-23 season as he rehabbed the injury. It was Beckham’s second ACL injury, the prior one occurred when he was a member of the Cleveland Browns in Week 7 of the 2020 season.
