NFL Posts Montage Video Showing How Different The World Was The Last Time Tom Brady Wasn’t In The NFL

The NFL is set to kickoff it’s 2023 season and this one will feel a lot different because the most accomplished player in league history is no longer on an NFL team.

Back in February, seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady announced his second retirement from football and unlike the first retirement announcement, Brady is actually intent on staying committed to this one.

Earlier this week, the National Football League posted this awesome montage video showing how different the world was in 1999, which was the last season that didn’t feature Brady.

Among the things highlighted in the video: Bill Clinton was still president of the United States, Kurt Warner had led the St. Louis Rams to the franchise’s first Super Bowl championship, and the NFL had 31 teams split in six divisions.

Brady spent 20 years with the New England Patriots, who drafted him 199th overall back in 2000. He spent his final three years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, leading the franchise to a Super Bowl title (his seventh ring) in his first season there.
