Michael Irvin is back on NFL Network.
Back in February, a woman accused Irvin of sexual harassment by a female at a Marriott during the Super Bowl week in Arizona. This prompted NFL Network to remove Irvin from it’s coverage and he’s been off the network since.
But this weekend a settlement was reached with Marriott in his $100 million defamation lawsuit, and as the Dallas News has noted, suddenly he is set to re-appear on NFL Network on Sunday morning.
Back in early April, fans were concerned about Irvin after he tweeted he was in a ‘dark place’ owing to the Marriott controversy.
The lawsuit was slated to go on trial in the middle of 2024, according to Front Office Sports. The Cowboys legend’s legal team also launched a strong defence, playing a video of the interaction for reporters back in March.
The Hall of Fame WR claimed that the employee accused him of the ‘evil’ intent of harming his career.
With the lawsuit in the rear-view mirror, Irvin is ready to resume his media career which has taken off over the past year. He made appearances on ESPN’s First Take during the 2022 season and now has joined FS1’s Undisputed.
