Iowa State HC Matt Campbell Had To Be Restrained After Getting Into Altercation With Fan

Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell seat got a lot warmer on Saturday after a 10-7 loss to Ohio. The loss wasn’t without controversy as the Cyclones were screwed over by the referees after a field goal that clearly went through the uprights was called “no good.”

Campbell was clearly angry about the results and after the game, a Cyclones fan (who also was probably pissed) was spotted giving Campbell a piece of his mind, telling him that he’s indeed on the ‘hot seat.’

This didn’t sit with the Cyclones coach, he stopped and turned around to confront the fan. He had to be restrained by security and teammates:

The loss dropped Iowa State to 1-2 on the season.
