Western Kentucky Linebacker Suffers Gruesome Leg Injury While Celebrating A Tackle

This is the absolute worst way to suffer an injury, especially a gruesome one like this.

On Thursday, Western Kentucky linebacker Bryson Washington, who was named the Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week this pat week, twisted his leg awkward while he was jumping with excitement, celebrating a sack.

Hopefully that injury isn’t as bad as it looks. Washington was able to walk off on his own power and was able to return to the game eventually, which was awesome.

A sixth-year senior, Washington earned conference Player of the Week honors after posting seven tackles, an interception, a fumble recovery and two pass breakups in his first career start against Middle Tennessee State last weekend. WKU won the game, 31-10.
