REPORT: NFL Is Looking To Play International Games In Spain Or Brazil In 2024

The NFL won’t stop until they can play a game in every county in the world.

Earlier this season, NFL Executive Vice President Peter O’Reilly said the league began investigating the possibility of hosting a regular-season game in Brazil or Spain next year, according to Eric Fisher of Front Office Sports.

Fisher says the investigation is ongoing and a decision is expected this December or January.

Fisher reports that the NFL has examined Real Madrid’s Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and Atletico Madrid’s Estadio Metropolitano as host sights for a game in Spain.

The league has already hosted three games in London this fall and will play twice in Germany next month. There are no games in Mexico because Estadio Azteca is undergoing stadium renovations ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
