Details are beginning to emerge from the arrest of Kansas City Chiefs receiver Justyn Ross and they do not look good.

Ross was arrested by the Shawnee Police Dept. on Monday and was booked into the county jail, according to Johnson County Sheriff’s booking log.

The criminal complaint states the alleged victim is someone who Ross “is or has been in a dating relationship” with.

Per Sam McDowell, a police dispatcher stated that the alleged victim told police that Ross was “dragging her through the house and has torn up the house.”

The alleged victim suffered minor injuries, according to a Shawnee Police Department offense report. No specific injuries were included. The property damage is to a laptop, iPhone, computer monitor, gold bracelet and car key, the offense report stated.

The dispatcher said the alleged victim was calling from a neighbor’s home because Ross broke her phone. The dispatcher added that there was no previous history at that residence. The officer’s report lists a 62-year-old female witness of the events.

A second-year receiver out of Clemson, Ross has three catches for 34 yards in seven games played for the Chiefs this season.
