BREAKING: Bears Giving Star CB Jaylon Johnson Permission To Seek Trade Ahead Of Trade Deadline

Jaylon Johnson and the Chicago Bears seem to be headed towards a separation.

Earlier Tuesday morning, the Chicago Bears granted the star cornerback permission to seek a trade ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.

Johnson is playing on the final year of his rookie contract and after days of contract negotiations with Chicago, Johnson’s agent, Chris Ellison, received permission to find a new home.

In 45 career games, Johnson has three interceptions, 35 pass defenses and three forced fumbles.
