REPORT: There’s “Turmoil” Brewing In Eagles Locker Room Despite 10-4 Record

Despite the fact that the Philadelphia Eagles are 10-4 and have clinched a playoff berth, things aren’t going well for them after losing three consecutive games.

According to Jeff McLane of Philadelphia Inquirer, the Eagles were reportedly very tense through the first 11 games of this season as the team was 10-1. McLane quoted a source who said the Eagles were the “most miserable 10-1 team” prior to them losing three straight games.

“The mood inside the NovaCare Complex was tense despite an NFL-best 10-1 start, team sources said. At least, more anxious than the Eagles should have been relative to their record and various past teams under similar circumstances,” McLane wrote.

“’The most miserable 10-1 team,’ one source said, describing the collective disposition of the team just over three weeks ago. ‘Imagine now.'”

“Turmoil” was one of the terms used to describe the state of the team as they now contend with a three-game losing streak against the 49ers, Cowboys and a shocking blown lead to the Seahawks.

The schedule is very easy for the Eagles as they play two games against the New York Giants and a game at home against the Arizona Cardinals. The Eagles should win out and finish 13-4 where they will likely win the NFC East.

If the Eagles don’t, I can’t imagine what else could come out of that locker room.
