If the Pittsburgh Steelers are going to pull the upset against the Buffalo Bills, they will have to do it without their best player, T.J. Watt.
Mike Tomlin announced on Tuesday that Watt won’t play in Sunday’s AFC Wild Card game after he suffered a Grade 2 MCL Sprain In Pittsburgh’s 17-10 victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday. The six-time Pro Bowler exited Saturday’s game in the third quarter after running into teammate Montravius Adams.
If the Steelers are able to pull of the upset of the Bills, Tomlin has not ruled out the possibility of Watt playing in the AFC Divisional Round.
With Watt’s absence, Markus Golden will start in his place.
