George Kittle brought the meme to life.
The San Francisco 49ers erased a 24-7 deficit to comeback and defeat the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship Game.
During the postgame trophy presentation, Kittle summed up the night perfectly, by bringing up the legendary line from the high school player’s postgame interview.
“They had us in the first half, not going to lie.”
