The New York Jets Have The Most Primetime Games During First 11 Weeks Of Season In NFL History

If you thought the NFL was going to learn from last year and not shove the New York Jets down our throat in 2024, think again.

The league unveiled the 2024 regular-season schedule on Wednesday night and it included the New York Jets having six primetime games, all before its Week 12 bye.

According to NFL analyst Warren Sharp, the Jets are the first team to ever play six primetime games in the first 11 weeks.

After the Jets acquired Aaron Rodgers, the NFL scheduled them for six primetime games last season. Unfortunately, Rodgers tore his achilles in his team’s debut on Monday Night Football in Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills.

The Jets turned to Zach Wilson and eventually Trevor Siemian and Tim Boyle under center. The Jets finished 7-10 with the second-worst offense.

ESPN, NBC, and Amazon Prime Video will certainly hope for a better outcome in 2024.
