Living in Florida has its benefits but it also comes with some negatives and that’s exactly what Miami Dolphins edge rusher Jaelan Phillips discovered.
Phillips took to social media recently and posted a video of him stumbling upon a giant iguana in his toilet bowl.
“Man, this is some Florida s–t if I’ve ever seen it,” Phillips said. “How the hell did he get in there? That man is bathing. In my toilet. And he is not a pet. I don’t know where he came from, that’s a grown man.”
Phillips said it cost him $150 to have an exterminator remove the reptile from his toilet bowl, and eh had questioned whether the iguana came up through the toilet or if it had been living in his garage.
The fourth-year player is on track to return from a torn achilles he suffered in Week 12 of the 2023 NFL season. While limited to eight games, Phillips had 43 tackles, an interception and a pair of passes deflected.
