The New York Jets have fired head coach Robert Saleh after the team’s 2-3 start to the season.
The move comes two days after the club lost 24-17 to the Minnesota Vikings, dropping the team to 2-3 on the season. The club went 20-36 under Saleh’s direction, with their best season under Saleh being in 2022 and 2023 with 7-10 finishes.
Defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich will be the interim coach for the team and his first game will be a big one on Monday Night Football against the Buffalo Bills.
