Shilo Sanders Brought Entire Colorado Football Team Apple Watches After Signing First NFL Contract

After signing his first NFL contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Shilo Sanders gifted Apple Watches to the entire Colorado Buffaloes football team ahead of the 2025 college football season.

Sanders signed a three-year, $2.97 million contract with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in the 2025 NFL Draft and the safety decided to give back to his alma mater with his first large purchase.

A video posted to social media by newly added Colorado lineman Tawfiq Thomas showed the Buffaloes players showing off their gifts, with Thomas excitedly shouting, “Apple Watch after workout, yes sir, Shilo! Yes sir, Shilo!”

The 25-year-old has been turning heads at the team’s organized team activities, with defensive-minded head coach Todd Bowles praising the rookie for his early showings.

“I think he’s a good football player. He’s a heck of a tackler and he knows the game very well; he can see the game very well. So giving him a chance to play, we think he has a shot to help us from a safety standpoint and from a special teams standpoint. . . . I saw him tackle all year. I saw him make plays. He’s a very smart player and he understands the game very well. So we thought it was worth a shot to see what he can do. And I think he’ll show himself well,” Bowles said on SiriusXM NFL Radio.

Sanders and the Buccaneers will kick off their season against the Atlanta Falcons on Sept. 7.
