The Detroit Lions are flying high after a thrilling 31-29 win over the Minnesota Vikings to improve to 5-1 but the team now is dealing with some drama.
Jameson Williams has been suspended two-games for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing substances policy, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Williams, 23, was the No. 12 overall pick out of Alabama in 2022.
Williams currently has the team’s second-most receiving yards (361) and touchdowns (3) behind All-Pro WR Amon-Ra St. Brown and was off to a strong start in his third season.
The Lions next two games are at home against the Tennessee Titans and on the road at Lambeau Field against the Green Bay Packers.
