Kevin Clark asked ESPN’s Adam Schefter for the weirdest place he broke a story. Schefter paused and started laughing in that way that he knew this one was going to be a doozy.
He recalled being in Denver when he had “spent time” with a woman for the first time and got texted that Broncos cornerback Dale Carter had been suspended for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy. So he confirmed it while enjoying the company of this woman in bed.
