REPORT: Multiple Arrest Warrants Have Been Issued For Ex-NFL RB Adrian Peterson

Former NFL MVP Adrian Peterson is dealing with some serious legal trouble.

According to Brent Schrotenboer of USA Today, Peterson is facing some legal problems in Texas after he failed to appear in court for two child support cases. Two warrants have been issued for his arrest.

Peterson is also facing property seizures since he’s trying to pay off over $12 million in debt.

“The current legal case is related to a misunderstanding regarding Adrian’s court appearances as it relates to child support, and he is actively working with his legal team to resolve this matter as quickly as possible,” Peterson’s publicist told Schrotenboer.

Peterson spent 15 seasons in the NFL from 2007 to 2021 with 10 of those years coming with the Minnesota Vikings. His best season came in 2012 as a member of the Vikings when he won the NFL MVP award after finishing the season with 348 carries for 2,097 yards and 12 touchdowns.

He finished his career with 3,230 carries for 14,918 rushing yards and 120 touchdowns. Peterson also added 305 receptions for 2,474 yards and six receiving touchdowns coming out of the backfield.

Despite his success on the field, Peterson has dealt with several finical and legal difficulties off the field. He currently resides in Texas.
