The Indianapolis Colts plan on running it back with quarterback Anthony Richardson in 2025, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The former No. 4 overall pick in the 2022 Draft was benched earlier this season before regaining his starting job. Rapoport says the Indy brass is very pleased with how Richardson has responded from the benching before Week 9 and how his attention to detail and preparation has increased as a result.
Richardson won’t play in Sunday’s game against the New York Giants due to foot and back issues. The injuries aren’t considered long term. The Colts are still alive for the playoffs thanks to the Bengals defeating the Broncos on Saturday.
