If you didn’t believe in karma before today, I present you this…
Browns fans were begging to have Deshaun Watson benched midway through this season after continuing to put up just horrid numbers for Cleveland’s stagnant offense, and as if God took matters into his own hands and did it himself, Watson tore his achilles tendon in October against the Bengals.
And if things couldn’t get better for Browns fans or Watson haters everywhere, news dropped Friday that Watson has re-torn that same achillies and will undergo another surgery to repair it next week.
The set back will likely force Watson to miss the entirety of next season as well now.
The team released this statement on the matter:
Watson has appeared in only 19 games since signing a fully guaranteed five-year, $230-million contract with the Browns two years ago in what is shaping up to be the worst contract in the history of sports.
