The first step in beating the Philadelphia Eagles for any team is to make sure your fanbase does not cover the Rocky statue with your team gear. The Washington Commanders didn’t do that.
Ahead of Sunday’s NFC Championship Game, some Commanders fans decided to decorate the famous Rocky statue in downtown Philadelphia with Commanders gear.
A big no-no.

This has seemingly always backfired for the team who did this.
The Commanders and Eagles will kickoff on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. ET at Lincoln Financial Field with the winner advancing to Super Bowl LIX to take on either the Buffalo Bills or Kansas City Chiefs.
