Washington Commanders Release “Super Bowl Era” Alternate Uniforms For 2025 Season

The Washington Commanders enter the 2025 season with aspirations of winning a Super Bowl after being led to the NFC Championship Game by rookie sensation Jayden Daniels.

With those lofty goals, the Commanders will be wearing these alternate uniforms that remind them of what they are playing for.

The Commanders unveiled their new “Super Bowl Era” alternate uniforms that will be worn for three games this season, including their Christmas Day showdown against the Dallas Cowboys.

This will continue the organizational trend under owner Josh Harris of embracing the franchise’s history after years of the organization’s alienation of the past with Dan Snyder as owner.

Harris made Pro Football Hall of Famer Darrell Green the first Washington player to have his jersey retired by the club following his purchase of the club in July 2023.

The Commanders are also planning to build a new stadium at the site of the old RFK Stadium site with the hope of having it open in 2030.

RFK Stadium and the “Super Bowl Era” uniforms go hand in hand for the Commanders. The stadium was the home to the franchise for each of their five Super Bowl appearances to date.

The Commanders won three Super Bowls in a 10-season span from 1982 to ’91. The white jerseys feature burgundy numbers with a gold outline on the front, back and shoulder pads. The burgundy pants have white and gold stripes down the leg, with white socks also featuring stripes of gold and white.

Coming off a 12-5 season, the Commanders are looking to build of that success for years to come.
