Thursday morning had the hearts of Jets fans sunk when it was reported that QB Justin Fields was being carted off the practice field after suffering an apparent non-contact lower leg injury.

After being taken into the facilities and checked by team doctors, the injury was diagnosed as a dislocated toe. It is important to note that it was not to Fields’ big toe.

The injury typically takes 4-6 weeks of heeling, with swelling lasting for months.
