After one year, Stefon Diggs time in New England is over.
According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network, the Patriots have informed Stefon Diggs that he will be released at the start of the new league year on March 11th.
Diggs was due $22.5 million in 2026 and only $1.7 of it is guaranteed, with another $6 million that was scheduled to be guaranteed on March 13th.
The move leaves a big void at wide receiver for New England. Patriots head coach did say after the Super Bowl loss that the team would have some tough decision to make and this appears one of them.
Diggs, 32, appeared in all 17 games for the Patriots and recorded 85 catches on 102 targets for 1,013 yards and four touchdowns.
