Dez Bryant’s career with the Dallas Cowboys is coming to an end today.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the team is expected to release Bryant following a one-on-one meeting with team owner Jerry Jones:
Cowboys expected to release WR Dev Bryant today, barring an unexpected last-minute change of heart, per @toddarcher and me. But the plan going into meeting that is now underway was to part ways with Bryant.

For months, there have been speculation about Dez’s future with the team as the front office contemplated it’s options. Now, they’ve made their decision.
Bryant was the Dallas Cowboys first round pick in 2010, hauling 531 receptions for 7,459 yards and a team record 73 receiving touchdowns.
Expect Bryant to find another home really quickly, as he’s still widely regarded as one of the top receivers in the NFL.
