Myles Garrett Threw Browns Coaching Staff Under The Bus After Blowout Loss To Patriots

After the New England Patriots embarrassed the Cleveland Browns, 45-7 last Sunday, the team’s superstar defensive end Myles Garrett made things even more uncomfortable with his comments after the game.

Garrett took a swipe at the Browns defensive coordinator Joe Woods and the rest of the coaching staff.

“We’ve got to go back to the drawing board and see how we can get better, see how we can scheme better, see how we can make adjustments on the fly,” Garrett said in his postgame press conference. “We never had a chance just because we didn’t make any adjustments on the sideline or when we had time to.”

“I think we didn’t counter like we are supposed to,” Garrett said. “We didn’t stop the bleeding and they kept attacking where we were deficient.”

The Browns offense has struggled all season. In four of the team’s five loses this year, the Browns have allowed opponents to score 33 points or more.

Woods is in his second season as defensive coordinator for the Browns. Cleveland dropped to 5-5 on the season with Sunday’s loss to New England.
