REPORT: DC Police Set To Announce Arrest In Shooting Of Commanders RB Brian Robinson

An announcement in connection to the shooting of Washington Commanders rookie running back Brian Robinson Jr. is expected to take place on Wednesday, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.

The Washington D.C. Police Dept. are scheduling a news conference to announce that they’ve arrested someone who was involved in the August shooting:

Robinson Jr. was shot twice in the leg back on August 28th in an attempted robbery and carjacking in the Washington D.C. area.

The former Alabama standout was fortunate that the two bullets went through his knee, avoiding any major arteries or parts of the leg that could’ve caused serious damage. This allowed him to make his remarkable NFL debut this season.
