Former college football player Ray Lewis III and son of Hall of Fame linebacker Ray Lewis has tragically passed away at the age of 28, according to TMZ Sports.
The details surrounding Lewis III’s death remains unknown.
Lewis III was a star running back at Lake Mary Prep High School in Florida. He rushed for 1,898 yards and 20 touchdowns, while also racking up 676 receiving yards and four touchdowns during his senior season. He went on to play at at the University of Miami (where his father played) as well as Coastal Carolina and Virginia Union.
Lewis III most recently suited up for the Wyoming Mustangs of the Champions Indoor Football league.
