Washington Commanders rookie cornerback Emmanuel Forbes was ejected from Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks after a helmet-to-helmet hit in the first quarter vs the Seattle Seahawks.
Forbes, who was Washington’s first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, was ejected following a hit on Tyler Lockett. As quarterback Geno Smith scrambled to his left, it forced Lockett to run to the outside — as Forbes dropped into that area.
As Lockett attempted to catch the ball, Forbes hit Lockett in the helmet. Lockett did not hang onto the ball but Forbes was penalized 15 yards. After the officials met, they ejected Forbes.
Emmanuel Forbes Jr. was being checked for a concussion in the medical tent after the hit.
