The Chiefs are at arrowhead tonight to once again kick off the season, but unlike last season, ‘Chiefsaholic’ won’t be in the stands.
The team’s most recognizable fan (other than Taylor Swift of course) Xaviar Babudar, was arrested in connection with a string of bank robberies last year to which he pleased guilty to in federal court Wednesday.
The bank robbing spree took place a total of 11 times across seven states, stealing around $800,000 with charges that carried up to 50 years in prison.
The case that concluded sentencing Thursday, and ironically on the opening day of the NFL season, the 29-year-old was slapped with a 17.5-year prison sentence.
