Some people just take things way too far.
New York Giants kicker Graham Gano has been battling injuries the past couple of years. The one-time Pro Bowl kicker is currently dealing with a herniated disk in his back that could once again sideline him.
On top of the mounting injuries, Gano is also getting a plethora messages from frustrated fans and sports bettors, some of them taking it way too far by sending death threats.
Gano revealed all this to reporters on Thursday:
The 38-year-old Gano is trending towards not playing on Sunday and there’s growing sense that the New York Giants could place him on injured reserve ending his season.
If Gano can’t kick on Sunday, the Giants will turn to Younghoe Koo to be their kicker when they take on the Chicago Bears.
