Back on June 23rd, ESPN draft analyst Matt Miller revealed he was involved in a serious car accident that resulted in several serious injuries and the amputation of his left arm. Miller asked for prayers from the public while also launching a GoFundMe account to collect donations.
That has led to Matt Miller being accused of some serious allegations.
Many questioned why Miller, a well-paid ESPN employee, was collecting charity for his injuries but the more serious accusations came when people brought up Miller’s shady business dealings.
Ben Koo and Brendon Kleen of Awful Announcing reported on the entire situation as Miller faces accusations regarding fantasy football league with winnings that did not result in payouts.
Koo and Kleen spoke to at least seven individuals regarding their own experiences in fantasy leagues started by Miller. Per the report, Miller was the commissioner of 91 fantasy leagues during the 2025 season.
Other allegations include Miller charging for scouting lessons but never providing them. After Awful Announcing went public with their report, someone that works in the media told the outlet “that he paid for $500 of scouting classes but only received one 30-minute lesson out of the ten he paid for,” and the lesson consisted of “very basic information on the role of a front office.”
Awful Announcing reached out to both Miller and his employer, ESPN, for a comment on the situation but have received no response.
The situation remains a delicate one considering Miller is recovering from very serious and life-threatening injuries but the longer Miller and ESPN stay silent, the worse it looks for him. His GoFundMe has raised $51,172 as of Thursday, July 2nd.
