Josh Allen Made Buffalo Bills History In Week 6 Win vs Raiders

Josh Allen has etched another historic chapter into the Buffalo Bills’ record books.

In a thrilling 33–30 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders, the superstar quarterback matched Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Kelly’s franchise record of 258 career passing touchdowns.

The milestone play came in quintessential Josh Allen fashion during the third quarter. Facing heavy pressure and narrowly escaping what looked like a sure sack, Allen acrobatically shot-put a 12-yard touchdown pass to second-year wideout Keon Coleman.

While Allen had already surpassed Kelly for total franchise touchdowns (combining passing and rushing scores), tying Kelly’s passing mark stands as a symbolic passing of the torch from the leader of the 1990s Super Bowl teams to the modern face of the franchise.

“We have so much respect for what Jim Kelly built here,” Allen noted after the game. “To be mentioned alongside him in any record is an incredible honor for me and this entire offense.”

Allen will look to break the record in Week 7 against the Baltimore Ravens.
