Dolphins Beat Patriots On Miracle Desperation Lateral Play With No Time Remaining

For some odd reason, Tom Brady and the Patriots never seem to perform well in Miami.

Up by five with mere seconds left, the Patriots seemed to have this matchup down in South Florida in hand though – until this happened.

Needing a score and out of reach for a hail mary, the Dolphins drew up a lateral play that worked to perfection.

QB Ryan Tannehill fired a pass across the middle to WR Kenny Stills, who pitched it to WR Devante Parker, who threw it to RB Kenyan Drake, who did the rest.

The play resulted in a 69-yard walk-off touchdown that dropped Tom Brady’s record in Miami to a staggering 7-10 all-time.

It was the longest game-winning touchdown with no time remaining in regulation in NFL history.
