No this is not an article from The Onion, but it sure sounds like one.
Jameis Winston is coming off one of the most historic seasons by an NFL QB ever, for all the wrong reasons.
Winston, who threw 30 interceptions in 2019 for the Buccaneers was made fun of on social media for seemingly playing the position blind, but not it looks like he may have actually been blind.
According to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times the Tampa Bay quarterback recently underwent LASIK eye surgery to correct his nearsightedness, a downfall he’s reportedly been dealing with since his time at Florida State.

It remains to be seen if Winston will be back in Tampa Bay next season, but wherever he is, look for Jameis to be throwing the ball to his own team more often than the opponent from here on out.
