This is totally the most New York Jets thing ever.
On Friday, the team’s official Twitter account welcomed former San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Bruce Ellington to the team after he was claimed off waivers.
Pretty normal for a team to do and by the way, a pretty solid pickup for a team desperate for some wide receivers. But wasn’t normal was the team welcoming Ellington on Twitter but sending out a picture of a completely different player:

That guy pictured is Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Brittan Golden, who I’m sure does not want to be affiliated with a team that might be on it’s way to being the worst team in the NFL.
I guess it’s safe to say the New York Jets twitter account is also in full tank mode.
