A month ago the New York Giants were destined to be moving on from 37-year old Eli Manning after the team was 1-7 and going no where offensively. But after winning four of their last five and getting good play from Manning, the team has opened the door to have Manning return in 2019 as the team’s starting quarterback.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network:

The Giants are clinging to slim playoff hopes as the team sits at 5-8 and hosts the 7-6 Titans on Sunday.
