Multiple Dolphins Players Reportedly Demanding Trades After First Game Of The Season

Everyone knew the Dolphins were heading into the season with their eyes on landing a top pick in the 2020 or 2021 NFL draft.

After trading away multiple key players and bringing it a journeyman backup quarterback to run the offense, it was apparent Miami would be bad, but not as bad as they actually were Sunday afternoon.

The ‘Phins were gashed by Lamar Jackson and the Ravens offense to a turn of 59 points in a dismal opening performance. The loss was so depressing that according to ProFootballTalk, numerous Dolphins players reached out to their agents post game, after just one single game, and asked them to seek trades.

According to PFT, the players believe that the coaching staff, despite claiming that they intend to try to win, aren’t serious about competing and winning and by all appearances have bought into the notion that the Dolphins will take their lumps now in the hopes of laying the foundation via high draft picks for building a successful team later.

Coach Brian Flores consistently has denied an intention to tank and the Dolphins have yet to comment on this specific situation.
