It sure looks like the Houston Texans are actively seeking to trade DE/OLB Jadeveon Clowney.
During Thursday’s telecast of FOX NFL Pregame show, Jay Glazer reported that the Texans have spoken to 10 teams including the Dolphins about a potential trade for Clowney.
The 25-year-old has yet to sign his franchise tag worth $15.967 million and has skipped the offseason program, training camp, as well as two preseason games so far.
Clowney would have to sign his franchise tender in order to be traded. Him not doing so actually gives him the leverage to pick the destination that best suits him. That would also mean the return may not be sufficient enough for a player as good as Clowney.
