Colin Kaepernick continued his protests in attempt to bring awareness and change pertaining to racial divide and police brutality in the Unites States by sitting out the National Anthem Thursday night in San Diego.
During ‘Military Appreciation Night’ ironically enough, Kaepernick took a knee during the signing of the Anthem prior to kickoff.
This time around though, the 49ers QB wasn’t alone tonight. Not only was he joined in protest by his teammate Eric Reid, but by a player on the team’s bitter rival Seattle Seahawks.
Defensive back Jeremy Lane chose to sit out the anthem in Oakland tonight ahead of the Seahawks vs Raiders Preseason Week 4 game.

Lane was the only player on his team to chose to sit.
