Rob Gronkowski called it quits earlier this offseason, retiring from football at the age of 29. Though he seems to be enjoying retirement, many believe that won’t last long.
According to Mike Freeman of Bleacher Report, sources close to the New England Patriots and Gronk believe the tight end will at some point next season come out of retirement to rejoin his team.
“The belief is that once the season gets going, and Gronkowski starts missing football, he will rejoin the team,” Freeman said.
“It’s not just a hunch, sources say; you can count on it.”
